summer to fall with lulu*s: part I

Dress:Lulu*s, Sandals: Enzo Angiolini, Bag: Old Navy, Sunglasses: Cole Haan, Necklaces: Nordstrom Rack (love this), Bracelets: made by me, Rings:Lulu*s, Lipstick: Indie Flick by NYXNail Polish: Bachelorette Bash by Essie

I’ve mentioned before that dressing during this time of the year can be difficult. While most stores are gearing up for fall, it’s still very much summer in a lot of places. Anyone else live in Arizona? The triple digits won’t be going away here anytime soon.

I’m be teaming up with Lulu*s for a few posts to show how I transition my wardrobe from summer to fall while still dressing in weather appropriate clothing. One of the easiest ways you can do this is by wearing fall colors. When I think of fall fashion, some of the colors that come to mind are greens, yellows, browns, and beige. When I found this dress on Lulu*s, I thought it would be perfect for the summer to fall transition. As it starts to cool down, I look forward to wearing it with a denim jacket and wedges for a date night with Colton.

P.S. It’s only fitting that I’m wearing a nail polish called “Bachelorette Bash” in today’s post because the countdown is officially on. Four days until my bachelorette party weekend in Vegas! FOUR. DAYS. (!!!!) Colton will also be in Vegas this weekend for his bachelor party but my bridesmaids and his groomsmen will be in contact to ensure that our paths don’t cross. We don’t say it nearly enough but Colton and I are SO thankful for the friends and family who’ve worked so hard to make this time in our lives so incredibly special for us. I can’t wait to see what my bridesmaids have in store for me this weekend!

I am feeling your pain girl — 100 degrees here today in AZ and all I want to wear are sweaters & scarfs. But for now getting my fix with yellows, golds, oranges and dark bieges in my wardrobe. I am taking the same route you are – such a cute look! 🙂 Xo, Alison
