Natural Looking Makeup with Make Up For Ever

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend. Colton and I celebrated a friend’s birthday on Saturday night and watched a lot of football the rest of the weekend. I’m happy to report all of our favorite teams won, which makes for a much happier rest of the week with my football-loving husband. 😉

I’m excited to be bringing you a quick and easy natural makeup look with one of my favorite makeup brands, Make Up For Ever. It focuses on their new Ultra HD Foundation, which I absolutely love because it’s so easy to use and looks so natural when applied.

Step 1: Apply Make Up For Ever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Primer to your entire face. There are ten different primers to choose from that either focus on equalizing your tone or texture, I opted for the redness correcting primer.

Step 2: Using your finger, apply small dots of Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Liquid Foundation (I’m wearing Shade Y375) all over your face, I used two pumps to cover my entire face. This will ensure that you don’t miss any areas when blending.

Step 3: Blend foundation using the Make Up For Ever 108 Large Foundation Brush. This is hands down the best foundation brush I’ve ever used! It’s so unbelievably soft and my foundation went on evenly when using it.

Step 4: Touch up blemishes using the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Foundation Stick. I’ve already started carrying this foundation stick with me in my purse in case I need to give myself any quick touch-ups throughout the day. I’m wearing shade Y365 which is a close match to my foundation color; you can also go a few shades darker than your foundation and use the stick for contouring.

Step 5: Set your foundation using the Make Up For Ever HD Microfinish Powder. I love this translucent powder because it slightly mattifies my skin without giving it a caked on look.

Step 6: After applying your favorite blush and mascara; add a swipe of Make Up For Ever Artist Plexi-Gloss to your lips. It looks great worn alone (as seen below) or on top of your favorite lipstick. I’m wearing the color Sweet Pink.

A close-up of the before and after. As you can see, I’m wearing my eyeliner and eyeshadow in the before photo. For the longest time I would apply my eye makeup after my face makeup but I actually learned it’s much more beneficial to do it the other way around. That way if you mess up, you can easily wipe it off without wiping off your face makeup.

*A big thanks to Make Up For Ever for gifting me these products!
