I remember feeling so overwhelmed with all the different things I thought I needed for my diaper bag with Scottie. I felt much more prepared the second time around and have found what works best for us from lots of trial and error. Today, I’m sharing all of my must-have diaper bag items with Walmart!
My biggest tip when packing your diaper bag is that less is more! I can’t stand when I have way too much stuff in ours and am digging around to find what I need. Walmart has all of my diaper bag needs (including the cutest diaper bag — I’m obsessed!) and is a great one-stop shop for stocking up on all of the necessities.
A few of my favorite products for my diaper bag are from Parent’s Choice, Walmart’s exclusive baby brand. They’re celebrating their 20th anniversary this month and have everything your baby needs from diapers and wipes, to baby skincare, to nursery bedding, to baby food! I love shopping the Parent’s Choice brand because I know I’m getting quality baby products for a great value. Keep reading to see what Parent’s Choice items I use daily in my diaper bag, plus all of my other diaper bag must-haves from Walmart.
Bananafish Studio LUCY Quilted Fashion Tote Diaper Bag: How cute is this diaper bag? I love the quilted design and blush pink color. It’s also super functional and has several pockets for organized storage and also comes with a changing pad.
Wonder Nation Bodysuit: I’ve learned the hard way to ALWAYS have a spare change of clothes in the diaper bag. Blowouts usually happen at the most inconvenient times so it’s good to have a backup onesie with you just in case!
Babyganics Alcohol-Free Foaming Hand Sanitizer: I always keep hand sanitizer in my diaper bag in case a sink isn’t accessible to wash my hands after a diaper change.
Pampers Swaddlers Diapers: We’ve tried several different diapers but Pampers Swaddlers are our favorite! They have a wetness indicator so we can easily check if Sawyer needs her diaper changed and we haven’t had too many blowouts with them.
Hello Bello Baby Wipes: I love Hello Bello wipes because they’re 99%+ pure water and other plant-based ingredients. I also use Hello Bello shampoo/wash and lotion on Scottie and Sawyer and love the Vanilla Apricot scent!
Parent’s Choice Girl Burp Cloths: You can never have enough burp cloths! I always like to have at least two in my diaper bag because I’m constantly taking them out to wash after using them. I love the cute print on these Parent’s Choice ones.
LNKOO Multi-Use Nursing Cover: I love this multi-use nursing cover because I’m also able to use it as a carseat cover and in the shopping cart when Sawyer gets bigger.
Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Baby Bottle: When Colton takes Sawyer somewhere without me, he always has a pumped bottle handy. My girls have both liked the Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature bottles and latched on quicker than with other bottles because of the breast-like nipple.
Parent’s Choice Baby Security Blanket Buddy: When it comes to toys in the diaper bag, especially as infants, less is more. I like to bring a few favorite items including a lovie security blanket for Sawyer to snuggle with. This Parent’s Choice elephant blanket buddy is so cute and soft!
Nuby Teethe-eez Silicone Teether: Teething toys are a must for infants because they’re constantly wanting something to chew on as they start teething. The Nuby Teeth-eez Silicone Teether was one of Scottie’s favorites that I re-purchased for Sawyer. I love that it comes with a case so it stays clean and it’s super easy to wipe down after use.
Nuby NanaNubs Teething Toothbrush: Our other favorite teether is the Nuby NanaNubs Teething Toothbrush. It’s easy for a baby to hold thanks to the banana peel handles. I’ve recommended it to several friends and their babies have loved it too!
