I’m so excited to finally share Sawyer’s nursery with you! I can’t believe how itty bitty she is in these photos. She was nine days old at the time they were taken and she just turned six months old a week ago. Crazy how fast time flies!
Back when I was pregnant with Scottie and decorating her nursery (see here), I purchased gender neutral furniture so we’d be able to use it for our future children. When we found out we were having another girl, I knew I wanted to add a bit more color as Scottie’s room was primarily white, cream, and pink. I’m so happy with how it turned out and love that it looks completely different from Scottie’s nursery even though we used the same crib, glider, end table, and several decor items.
One of my favorite things about Sawyer’s room is having a bed in addition to her crib. Her nursery used to be our guest room and I knew I wanted to keep it in the room if space allowed. My plan is for her to sleep in our room when we have guests and eventually Scottie’s room when she gets older.
The bed frame actually belonged to my aunt when she was younger and she left it with my grandparents when she moved out. It’s always been the guest bed in my grandparents house (now our house) so I was happy to keep it in that same room after all this time.

I love Scottie’s wall bookshelves and knew I wanted to do something similar in Sawyer’s room. I fell in love with this shelf which Colton actually hung upside down so that we could use it for books.
I ordered these “Darling, I love you” prints from Etsy and put them in IKEA frames and love how they look above the glider chair. The wall was looking a little bare so I added the 3D flowers for some dimension and color. I put some gold stickers in the middle of the flowers and added these artificial leaves to the sides.

The very first item I purchased for Sawyer’s nursery was this beautiful art print. Prior to that, I really had no idea how I wanted to decorate but when I saw it I knew I wanted to design her room around it. I found these watercolor sheets that ended up matching it perfectly!
